"But the Scripture imprisoned all things under sin" (3:22). Which Scripture does it mean?

In the text

The verse doesn't name a passage, and these notes don't supply one. It goes on, "that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe" (3:22) (tap imprisoned). These notes say no more of it than the verse says.

Galatians 3: The blessing of Abraham

Galatians 3 says of the promises to Abraham, "He doesn’t say, “To descendants”, as of many, but as of one, “To your offspring”, which is Christ" (3:16), and ends, "If you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s offspring and heirs according to promise." (3:29). And Galatians, by name, stands in the whole WEB only in "Foolish Galatians" (3:1).
