Acts 26 · a question people ask
"With a little persuasion are you trying to make me a Christian?" (26:28). What did Agrippa mean?
Acts doesn't say. It gives his words: "Agrippa said to Paul, “With a little persuasion are you trying to make me a Christian?”" (26:28). It gives Paul's answer (26:29). Then "The king rose up with the governor and Bernice, and those who sat with them." (26:30). Acts tells what the king said and did, and not what he meant, and these notes don't say either.
The verses
“Agrippa said to Paul, “With a little persuasion are you trying to make me a Christian?” Paul said, “I pray to God, that whether with little or with much, not only you, but also all that hear me today, might become such as I am, except for these bonds.” The king rose up with the governor and Bernice, and those who sat with them.”
