Acts 26 · a question people ask
"for this has not been done in a corner" (26:26). What hasn't been done in a corner?
Paul says it of "these things": "For the king knows of these things, to whom also I speak freely. For I am persuaded that none of these things is hidden from him, for this has not been done in a corner." (26:26). He doesn't name them in this verse, and these notes don't name them for him. Around it are Paul's defense (26:2-23), Festus's words and Paul's answer (26:24-25), and Paul's question to the king, "King Agrippa, do you believe the prophets? I know that you believe." (26:27). These notes add nothing from outside the Bible about what the king knew.
