1 Corinthians 12 · a question people ask
"no man speaking by God’s Spirit says, “Jesus is accursed.”" (12:3). Was someone saying that?
The verse runs, "Therefore I make known to you that no man speaking by God’s Spirit says, “Jesus is accursed.” No one can say, “Jesus is Lord,” but by the Holy Spirit." (12:3). The WEB prints both sayings in quotation marks. The letter doesn't say whether anyone among them had said Jesus is accursed, or who, and these notes don't guess.
