Revelation 16 · a question people ask

"the place which is called in Hebrew, “Harmagedon”" (16:16). Where is Harmagedon?

In the text

Here is what the verse says. "He gathered them together into the place which is called in Hebrew, “Harmagedon”." (16:16). The verse gives the place's name and says it is called that "in Hebrew". It doesn't say where the place is, and these notes don't either. They put it on no map, give the name no meaning, and set no other place beside it.

The verses

“He gathered them together into the place which is called in Hebrew, “Harmagedon”.”

Revelation 16: The seven bowls

After the third bowl, John hears, "Yes, Lord God, the Almighty, true and righteous are your judgments" (16:7), and when the seventh is poured out into the air, a loud voice from the throne says, "It is done!" (16:17).
