Revelation 15 · a question people ask

"No one was able to enter into the temple" (15:8). Why could no one go in?

In the text

The verse sets two things side by side. First, "The temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God and from his power." (15:8). Then, "No one was able to enter into the temple until the seven plagues of the seven angels would be finished." (15:8). The verse says no one could enter, and until when, and gives no other reason. These notes add none, and set no other verse beside it.

The bowls come to the seven angels from "One of the four living creatures" (15:7), and the smoke that fills the temple is "from the glory of God and from his power" (15:8).
