Psalm 62 · a question people ask
The title says "To Jeduthun" (62:1). Who is Jeduthun?
The title doesn't say. It reads, "For the Chief Musician. To Jeduthun. A Psalm by David." (62:1). Psalm 39's title names Jeduthun too (Psalm 39:1), and Psalm 39's notes take up this question: they set out what 1 Chronicles says of a Jeduthun (1 Chronicles 16:41, 25:1) and say that the title doesn't tell whether that is the Jeduthun it names. These notes don't repeat it. The third title with the name is Psalm 77's (Psalm 77:1).
