"For we must all be revealed before the judgment seat of Christ" (5:10). What does the verse say happens there?

In the text

The verse says it whole: "For we must all be revealed before the judgment seat of Christ that each one may receive the things in the body according to what he has done, whether good or bad." (5:10). The chapter says no more of the judgment seat than this. Christians read the verse alongside other passages, and in more than one way; these notes give the verse's words and go no further.

2 Corinthians 5: Be reconciled to God

2 Corinthians 5 says, "we walk by faith, not by sight" (5:7), and "if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation" (5:17). It speaks of reconciling in three verses running (5:18-20), and its plea is, "be reconciled to God" (5:20).
