2 Corinthians 10 · a question people ask
"mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds" (10:4). What strongholds?
The verse doesn't name them. The WEB runs on into the next verse: "throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ" (10:5). The chapter says no more than these two verses do, and these notes don't either. They apply the verses to no practice, person, place or conflict today.
The verses
