"and not to pay attention to myths and endless genealogies" (1:4). What were these myths and genealogies?
The verse says, "and not to pay attention to myths and endless genealogies, which cause disputes rather than God’s stewardship, which is in faith." (1:4). The letter doesn't say what the myths and genealogies were, or who paid attention to them, and these notes don't either. They apply the words to no one today.
