1 Thessalonians 2 · a question people ask
The verse doesn't say how, where or through whom. It says only, "because we wanted to come to you—indeed, I, Paul, once and again—but Satan hindered us." (2:18). These notes say no more of it than the verse does, and set no other verse beside it.

Every glory in 1 Thessalonians is in chapter 2, one Greek noun three times: not sought "from men" (2:6), God's "own Kingdom and glory" (2:12), and then the readers themselves: "For you are our glory and our joy." (2:20).
