"it is good for a man not to touch a woman" (7:1). Whose words are these?
The verse reads, "Now concerning the things about which you wrote to me: it is good for a man not to touch a woman." (7:1). It doesn't say whose words "it is good for a man not to touch a woman" are. Christians read them in more than one way, and these notes don't settle it: they quote the verse as it stands.
