Luke 23 · a question people ask
Jesus said, "today you will be with me in Paradise" (23:43). What did he mean?
Luke gives his words and no more. One of the criminals had said, "Lord, remember me when you come into your Kingdom." (23:42). "Jesus said to him, “Assuredly I tell you, today you will be with me in Paradise.”" (23:43). Luke says nothing more in this chapter about Paradise, or about that day, and these notes add nothing to Jesus's words, set no other verse beside them, and choose no reading of them.
The verses
