Hebrews 2 · a question people ask
The verse says, "For if the word spoken through angels proved steadfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just penalty," (2:2). The chapter doesn't say which word it means or when it was spoken, and these notes don't either.

In Hebrews 2, it became him (2:10) doesn't mean he became something: behind became is a verb Strong's gives as "to be suitable or proper". And the penalty that every transgression and disobedience received (2:2) is the same Greek noun the WEB later gives as reward (Hebrews 10:35): Strong's gives it as "requital (good or bad)".
