Hebrews 13 · a question people ask
"Pray for us" (13:18). What does the letter ask its readers to pray for?
The verses say it in their own words: "Pray for us, for we are persuaded that we have a good conscience, desiring to live honorably in all things." (13:18). Then the letter's I speaks: "I strongly urge you to do this, that I may be restored to you sooner." (13:19). The letter doesn't name the we or the I, and these notes don't either.
