Galatians 5 · a question people ask
"if I still preach circumcision, why am I still persecuted?" (5:11). Had the letter's I preached circumcision?
The verse asks a question, and doesn't say: "But I, brothers, if I still preach circumcision, why am I still persecuted? Then the stumbling block of the cross has been removed." (5:11). It doesn't say who persecuted the letter's I, or when, and these notes don't fill it in from anywhere else.
