Exodus 36 · a question people ask
Who actually made it: Bezalel, the workers, or all Israel?
Exodus says all three. Moses, speaking to the people (35:30), said, "Bezalel and Oholiab shall work with every wise-hearted man" (36:1), and "Moses called Bezalel and Oholiab, and every wise-hearted man" (36:2), "everyone whose heart stirred him up to come to the work to do it" (36:2). "All the wise-hearted men among those who did the work made the tabernacle" (36:8). From 36:10 the chapter says "He coupled" and "He made" without naming him; the next chapter begins, "Bezalel made the ark" (37:1), and later Bezalel "made all that the LORD commanded Moses" (38:22). The women had spun the yarn and goats' hair (35:25-26). And when it was done, "The children of Israel did according to all that the LORD commanded Moses; so they did" (39:32).

“All the wise-hearted men among those who did the work made the tabernacle with ten curtains of fine twined linen, blue, purple, and scarlet. They made them with cherubim, the work of a skillful workman.”
