Who is "the prince of the power of the air" (2:2)?

In the text

The verse calls him "the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the children of disobedience" (2:2). These notes say no more of him than these words. They apply the children of disobedience to no person, people or group today.

Ephesians 1 says God "raised him from the dead and made him to sit at his right hand in the heavenly places" (Ephesians 1:20). Ephesians 2 says it of us, with him: God "raised us up with him, and made us to sit with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus" (2:6).
