"Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt" (4:6). What does seasoned with salt mean?
The letter doesn't explain it, and these notes don't either. The verse says, "Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one." (4:6). It says no more about the salt than these words.
