Acts 6 · a question people ask
"his face like it was the face of an angel" (6:15). What did they see?
Acts says only this: "All who sat in the council, fastening their eyes on him, saw his face like it was the face of an angel" (6:15). It doesn't describe it further, say what it meant, or tell what those who saw it thought. The next words are the high priest's: "Are these things so?" (7:1). These notes don't explain it either.
