Acts 3 · a question people ask
"By faith in his name, his name has made this man strong" (3:16). Whose faith was it?
Peter doesn't say. His words are, "By faith in his name, his name has made this man strong, whom you see and know. Yes, the faith which is through him has given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all." (3:16). The chapter doesn't say whose faith Peter means, and these notes don't either. Nor do they say that a sick person lacks faith, or that a healing is owed.
