Revelation 9: Out of the smoke
Read Revelation 9:1-21 before you meet.
In a few lines
Out of the smoke came locusts, and power was given to them, "as the scorpions of the earth have power" (9:3).
The verse to carry
“They were told that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree, but only those people who don’t have God’s seal on their foreheads.”
Revelation 9:4
To talk about
1. The locusts "were told that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree" (9:4). What stands out to you about what they were told to leave alone?
2. John tells what the locusts were like, one likeness after another (9:7-9). What do you notice about the way he tells what he saw?
3. Which verse of Revelation 9 would you most like your group to help you think through, and why?
