Revelation 20: A great white throne
Read Revelation 20:1-15 before you meet.
In a few lines
John says, "I saw a great white throne and him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the sky fled away. There was found no place for them." (20:11), and "The sea gave up the dead who were in it." (20:13).
The verse to carry
“I saw a great white throne and him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the sky fled away. There was found no place for them.”
Revelation 20:11
To talk about
1. John saw "a great white throne and him who sat on it" (20:11). How could it steady you this week to remember that the throne John saw has one who sits on it?
2. John saw "the dead, the great and the small" (20:12) together. Where this week could you treat someone who is counted small the way you would treat someone who is counted great?
3. "the earth and the sky fled away" (20:11). What do you lean on that seems as lasting as the earth and the sky, and what would it look like to lean on God more than on it?
