Revelation 19: Hallelujah

Read Revelation 19:1-21 before you meet.

In a few lines

In this chapter the call to praise comes from the throne: "A voice came from the throne, saying, “Give praise to our God, all you his servants, you who fear him, the small and the great!”" (19:5). And when John is told to write the blessing, he is also told, "These are true words of God." (19:9).

The verse to carry

“A voice came from the throne, saying, “Give praise to our God, all you his servants, you who fear him, the small and the great!””

Revelation 19:5

To talk about

  1. 1. "Salvation, power, and glory belong to our God" (19:1). Which of these do you most need to remember belongs to God this week, and why?

  2. 2. The voice from the throne calls on "all you his servants, you who fear him, the small and the great!" (19:5). What helps you give praise to God alongside people who are not like you?

  3. 3. "These are true words of God." (19:9). How do you decide whose words to trust, and where do God's words stand among them?
