Revelation 12: The woman and the dragon

Read Revelation 12:1-17 before you meet.

In a few lines

The woman has "a place prepared by God" (12:6), and when the dragon persecutes her, she is given wings "that she might fly into the wilderness to her place" (12:14). The place God prepared, the chapter calls her place.

The verse to carry

“They overcame him because of the Lamb’s blood, and because of the word of their testimony. They didn’t love their life, even to death.”

Revelation 12:11

To talk about

  1. 1. "because of the word of their testimony" (12:11). What is one thing God has done for you that you could tell someone this week?

  2. 2. "so that she might be nourished" (12:14). What has God used to feed and strengthen you when things were hard?

  3. 3. "The earth helped the woman" (12:16). When has help come to you from somewhere you didn't expect?
