Psalm 94: He who formed the eye
Read Psalm 94:1-23 before you meet.
In a few lines
The prayer "Pay back the proud what they deserve" (94:2) and the last verse's "He has brought on them their own iniquity" (94:23) share one Hebrew verb. And the God "who disciplines the nations" and "teaches man" (94:10) is the one who disciplines and teaches the blessed man (94:12): the same two verbs.
The verse to carry
“In the multitude of my thoughts within me, your comforts delight my soul.”
Psalm 94:19
To talk about
1. The wicked say, "The LORD will not see" (94:7). When is it easiest for you to live as if God doesn't see?
2. "When I said, “My foot is slipping!” Your loving kindness, LORD, held me up" (94:18). When have you felt your foot slipping, and what held you up?
3. "In the multitude of my thoughts within me, your comforts delight my soul" (94:19). Which thoughts crowd in on you most, and where do you look for comfort?
