Psalm 67: Let all the peoples praise you

Read Psalm 67:1-7 before you meet.

In a few lines

Psalm 67:1 prays with four Hebrew words from the priests' blessing (Numbers 6:24-25) over "us", and the next verse says what the blessing is for: "That your way may be known on earth, and your salvation among all nations" (67:2).

The verse to carry

“Let the peoples praise you, God. Let all the peoples praise you.”

Psalm 67:5

To talk about

  1. 1. The psalm asks God to bless "us" so "That your way may be known on earth" (67:1-2). What has God given you that could help someone near you know him?

  2. 2. "Let all the peoples praise you" (67:3, 67:5). Who is hardest for you to picture praising God, and what might change if you prayed this line for them this week?

  3. 3. "The earth has yielded its increase. God, even our own God, will bless us" (67:6). What good thing has come to you lately that you could thank God for with your group?
