Psalm 145: Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom
Read Psalm 145:1-21 before you meet.
In a few lines
In Hebrew, Psalm 145 gives each verse the next letter of the alphabet, from aleph to tav, and one letter, nun, has no verse. And the title's first word, tehillah, "praise", is also the first word of the last verse: "My mouth will speak the praise of the LORD" (145:21).
The verse to carry
“The LORD is near to all those who call on him, to all who call on him in truth.”
Psalm 145:18
To talk about
1. "One generation will commend your works to another" (145:4). Who first told you about what God has done, and who might hear it from you?
2. "The LORD upholds all who fall, and raises up all those who are bowed down" (145:14). Where do you, or someone you know, need upholding right now?
3. "The LORD is near to all those who call on him, to all who call on him in truth" (145:18). What might calling on him in truth look like for you this week?
