Psalm 105: He has remembered his covenant forever
Read Psalm 105:1-45 before you meet.
In a few lines
Psalm 105 tells Israel's story from Abraham to the land without one sin of Israel's in it: even the quail come because "They asked" (105:40). And God remembers at both ends: "He has remembered his covenant forever" (105:8), and "For he remembered his holy word, and Abraham, his servant" (105:42).
The verse to carry
“He has remembered his covenant forever, the word which he commanded to a thousand generations,”
Psalm 105:8
To talk about
1. "Remember his marvelous works that he has done" (105:5). What has God done, in your life or your family's, that you want to keep remembering?
2. Joseph was held "until the time that his word happened" (105:19). Where are you waiting right now, and what helps you wait?
3. Psalm 105 tells the whole story as what God did (105:8, 105:42). When you tell the story of your own life with God, what do you put at the center?
