Luke 11: Lord, teach us to pray

Read Luke 11:1-54 before you meet.

In a few lines

One of his disciples asked, "Lord, teach us to pray", when Jesus had finished praying. The words he gave them begin with "Our Father", and his teaching on asking ends with a father too: "how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him?"

The verse to carry

“I tell you, keep asking, and it will be given you. Keep seeking, and you will find. Keep knocking, and it will be opened to you.”

Luke 11:9
