Ephesians 6: Strong in the Lord
Read Ephesians 6:1-24 before you meet.
In a few lines
The letter's last turn begins, "Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might" (6:10), and behind the strength of his might are the same three Greek words as in the prayer of chapter 1 (1:19). The letter that opened "Grace to you and peace" (1:2) closes with peace (6:23) and grace (6:24).
The verse to carry
“Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might.”
Ephesians 6:10
To talk about
1. "Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might." (6:10). Where in your week could you use that reminder?
2. The letter asks its readers, "Pray for me" (6:19). Who could you pray for by name this week?
3. "I have sent him to you for this very purpose, that you may know our state and that he may comfort your hearts." (6:22). Who has brought you news and comfort like that, and who could you do it for?
