Acts 3: What I have, that I give you
Read Acts 3:1-26 before you meet.
In a few lines
Peter fastened his eyes on the lame man (3:4), then asked the people why they fastened their eyes on him and John (3:12): in Acts's Greek, one verb. And the man's feet "received strength" (3:7) by the same verb Peter uses when he says Jesus's name "has made this man strong" (3:16).
The verse to carry
“Repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out, so that there may come times of refreshing from the presence of the Lord,”
Acts 3:19
To talk about
1. "I have no silver or gold, but what I have, that I give you" (3:6). What do you have that you could give someone this week?
2. Peter asks, "Why do you fasten your eyes on us, as though by our own power or godliness we had made him walk?" (3:12). When has someone pointed you away from themselves and toward God?
3. "Repent therefore, and turn again" (3:19). What helps you turn back to God when you've drifted?
