Acts 26: Such as I am

Read Acts 26:1-32 before you meet.

In a few lines

Before King Agrippa, Paul told of the road a third time, and only in this telling does the voice say, "It is hard for you to kick against the goads" (26:14). When the king asked, "With a little persuasion are you trying to make me a Christian?" (26:28), Paul answered, "whether with little or with much" (26:29).

The verse to carry

“Paul said, “I pray to God, that whether with little or with much, not only you, but also all that hear me today, might become such as I am, except for these bonds.””

Acts 26:29

To talk about

  1. 1. Paul told the king about his life before the road and after it (26:4-5, 26:12-20). If someone asked you what changed when you came to know Jesus, where would you begin?

  2. 2. "Therefore, King Agrippa, I was not disobedient to the heavenly vision" (26:19). What is one thing you know God has asked of you that you could act on this week?

  3. 3. Festus said, "Paul, you are crazy!" (26:24), and Paul answered, "I am not crazy, most excellent Festus" (26:25). How do you answer when someone brushes aside what you believe?
