Acts 22: Brothers and fathers, listen
Read Acts 22:1-30 before you meet.
In a few lines
Paul began his defense with the words Stephen began with, "Brothers and fathers" (7:2, 22:1), and they listened as he told of the light, the voice and "I am Jesus of Nazareth" (22:8), until he told them what he was told in the temple: "Depart, for I will send you out far from here to the Gentiles." (22:21).
The verse to carry
“For you will be a witness for him to all men of what you have seen and heard.”
Acts 22:15
To talk about
1. When Paul made his defense (22:1), he told what happened to him on the road and after (22:6-16). If someone asked you how you came to be where you are with Jesus today, what would you tell them?
2. "What shall I do, Lord?" (22:10). What would you most like to ask the Lord about the week ahead?
3. "you will be a witness for him to all men of what you have seen and heard" (22:15). What have you seen and heard that you could tell someone else this week?
