Acts 18: Tent makers in Corinth
Read Acts 18:1-28 before you meet.
In a few lines
Apollos "taught accurately the things concerning Jesus" (18:25), and still Priscilla and Aquila "explained to him the way of God more accurately" (18:26). And the chapter's testifying and its last verse end on the same words: "that Jesus was the Christ" (18:5, 18:28).
The verse to carry
“The Lord said to Paul in the night by a vision, “Don’t be afraid, but speak and don’t be silent;”
Acts 18:9
To talk about
1. "Don’t be afraid, but speak and don’t be silent" (18:9). Where would you most like the courage to speak rather than stay silent?
2. Priscilla and Aquila "took him aside, and explained to him the way of God more accurately" (18:26). Who has helped you understand something more accurately, and how did they go about it?
3. Paul said, "I will return again to you if God wills" (18:21). What plans are you making this week that you could hold the same way?
