Acts 14: A door of faith
Read Acts 14:1-28 before you meet.
In a few lines
At Lystra, to a crowd about to sacrifice to them, Barnabas and Paul say they "bring you good news" (14:15): the same verb as "preached the Good News" (14:7, 14:21). And back at Antioch they report "all the things that God had done with them, and that he had opened a door of faith to the nations" (14:27).
The verse to carry
“When they had arrived and had gathered the assembly together, they reported all the things that God had done with them, and that he had opened a door of faith to the nations.”
Acts 14:27
To talk about
1. Barnabas and Paul told the crowd, "We also are men of the same nature as you" (14:15). When has someone given you credit that belonged to God, and what did you do with it?
2. They went back through the cities, "strengthening the souls of the disciples" (14:22). Who could you strengthen this week, and how?
3. Back in Antioch, "they reported all the things that God had done with them" (14:27). What has God done with you lately that you could tell your group?
