Acts 10: What God has cleansed

Read Acts 10:1-48 before you meet.

In a few lines

Peter's common in his vision (10:14) and his unholy for "any man" in Cornelius's house (10:28) are the same Greek word. And "While Peter was still speaking these words, the Holy Spirit fell on all those who heard the word" (10:44).

The verse to carry

“All the prophets testify about him, that through his name everyone who believes in him will receive remission of sins.”

Acts 10:43

To talk about

  1. 1. Peter said, "God has shown me that I shouldn’t call any man unholy or unclean" (10:28), and went to Cornelius's house. Who is someone you find it hard to go and see, and what might help you go?

  2. 2. Cornelius "always prayed to God" (10:2), and Peter "went up on the housetop to pray" (10:9). Where and when do you find time to pray?

  3. 3. Peter told them Jesus "went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil" (10:38). Which part of what Peter says about Jesus (10:36-43) would you most want a friend to hear?
