2 Corinthians 6: Our heart is enlarged
Read 2 Corinthians 6:1-18 before you meet.
In a few lines
"Our heart is enlarged" (6:11) and "you also open your hearts" (6:13) have one Greek verb behind enlarged and open. And 6:11 is the only verse where the letter calls its readers Corinthians.
The verse to carry
“as sorrowful yet always rejoicing, as poor yet making many rich, as having nothing and yet possessing all things.”
2 Corinthians 6:10
To talk about
1. "in the word of truth, in the power of God" (6:7). Where have you seen the power of God at work this week?
2. "as sorrowful yet always rejoicing" (6:10). What helps you rejoice in an ordinary week?
3. "Our mouth is open to you, Corinthians. Our heart is enlarged." (6:11). What helps a group like this one speak openly with each other?
