2 Corinthians 12: When I am weak
Read 2 Corinthians 12:1-21 before you meet.
In a few lines
2 Corinthians 12 will boast on behalf of a man in Christ, but on its own behalf, "I will not boast, except in my weaknesses." (12:5). And it says, "For when I am weak, then am I strong." (12:10).
The verse to carry
“Therefore I take pleasure in weaknesses, in injuries, in necessities, in persecutions, and in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then am I strong.”
2 Corinthians 12:10
To talk about
1. "for I seek not your possessions, but you" (12:14). Who has shown you that they wanted you, and not something from you? Share it if you'd like to.
2. "Didn’t we walk in the same spirit? Didn’t we walk in the same steps?" (12:18). Who has walked beside you in your faith, and what has that meant to you?
3. "But all things, beloved, are for your edifying." (12:19). What is one way you could build someone up this week?
