1 Kings 21:3
To talk about
1. Naboth turned down a king's offer (21:2): "May the LORD forbid me, that I should give the inheritance of my fathers to you!" (21:3). What has been handed down to you, or given you by God, that you would not trade for anything?
2. Ahab had a palace and a kingdom, and still lay on his bed and wouldn't eat over one vineyard next door (21:1-4). What is the thing you can't have that you find hardest to stop wanting?
3. The chapter says "there was no one like Ahab" (21:25), and yet when Ahab humbled himself, the LORD noticed and said so (21:27-29). What does that tell you about how God sees you when you humble yourself before him?
