1 Corinthians 7: As God has called each
Read 1 Corinthians 7:1-40 before you meet.
In a few lines
"But I desire to have you to be free from cares." (7:32): Strong's derives the word behind free from cares from the same noun as the verb behind concerned in 7:32 and 7:33. And the call to stay comes twice, at 7:20 and 7:24, the second time ending "with God" (7:24).
The verse to carry
“Only, as the Lord has distributed to each man, as God has called each, so let him walk. So I command in all the assemblies.”
1 Corinthians 7:17
To talk about
1. "as God has called each, so let him walk" (7:17). What helps you remember, on an ordinary day, that God has called you?
2. "that you may attend to the Lord without distraction" (7:35). What helps you give the Lord your full attention?
3. "stay in that condition with God" (7:24). What does being *with God* look like for you in an ordinary week?
