1 Corinthians 10: Do all to the glory of God
Read 1 Corinthians 10:1-33 before you meet.
In a few lines
1 Corinthians 10 says all five times in 10:1-4 before "However with most of them, God was not well pleased" (10:5). It says, "God is faithful" (10:13), as 1:9 does, and it says, "do all to the glory of God" (10:31).
The verse to carry
“Whether therefore you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.”
1 Corinthians 10:31
To talk about
1. "God is faithful" (10:13). What helps you remember that on an ordinary day?
2. "Let no one seek his own, but each one his neighbor’s good." (10:24). Where this week could seeking someone else's good look different from what you would choose for yourself?
3. "Whether therefore you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God." (10:31). What ordinary part of your week would look different if you did it to the glory of God?
